Description:

This rustic floating shelf is designed to give you practical storage without making a room feel cluttered. Each piece is made from solid wood and finished by hand, giving it a natural, straightforward look that suits most interiors. The surface has a clean, honest grain with subtle variations that make every shelf slightly different. This rustic floating shelf suits customers who want a natural, character-filled wall shelf without visible brackets.

With concealed fixings, the shelf sits neatly on the wall with no visible brackets. This keeps things simple and works well in areas where you want usable storage without adding bulk. In kitchens, it’s useful for everyday items like cups, jars and small accessories. In bathrooms, it provides an easy place for toiletries or plants. In living rooms and hallways, it handles photos, books and small décor items without taking up valuable floor space. This shelf works well as rustic wall shelving in kitchens, bedrooms, and living rooms.

Because it’s solid wood, the shelf feels steady and dependable once installed, unlike lighter softwood alternatives that can mark or bend over time. Whether you’re fitting a single shelf in a smaller space or arranging several together, it offers a practical, unfussy solution that looks good in almost any room. If you prefer a smoother, more contemporary finish, our solid oak floating shelf offers a cleaner alternative.

Choosing the Right Size

Smaller lengths work best in bathrooms or tighter gaps, while mid-sized shelves suit kitchens and hallways. Longer shelves are ideal for living rooms or wider walls where you want more space to display items. If you need a precise length, we also offer bespoke sizes made to your exact measurements.

WOOD MATERIAL

This Wooden Floating Shelf is crafted from high-quality solid pine wood, ensuring durability and longevity.

Sustainability Sourced Materials

We take great pride in sourcing all of our wood from FSC certified suppliers, who are committed to responsible forest management practices. This means that not only is our wood sustainably sourced, but it is also harvested in a way that preserves the delicate ecosystem of our forests.

SPECIFICATION

Finish: Light Wax, Medium Wax, Dark Wax

Fixings: Floating Shelf Brackets & Fitting Instructions

GOOD TO KNOW

Shelf Brackets:

The fixings we provide are ideal for solid walls. Our solid wood shelving can be used on plasterboard walls, however you will need to source the appropriate fixings.

Wood Material:

The beauty of the material we use is that is displays the natural characteristics of the wood. Every shelf will display unique characteristics including cracks, splits, knots, and uneven edges. This character means that every shelf that we sell will be truly unique and one of a kind. Please note that all sizes are approximate due to the nature of solid timber. All our shelves are available in three finishes – Light Wax, Medium Wax, Dark Wax.

Colour Disclaimer

When viewing items online, colours can vary from one screen to another. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colours. In addition, wooden furniture will naturally have slight variations variations from one piece to another. Whilst every effort is made to match all colours and finishes, the variations mentioned are normal and do not constitute manufacturing faults.

Customer photo review of Rustic Floating Shelf

Delivery was a farce, was advised twice it was due to be delivered and nothing turned up! Then told to go to post office to collect, it wasn’t there, finally arrived on third attempt! Shelf has weird mark on the centre section, which can be seen in the added photos, so have been forced to use the underside instead. Having bought from off the grain before with no issues, this time I have been disappointed.
