Some pieces combine a row of steel coat hooks above a bench with shoe storage below, while others are shoe benches with a matching coat rack to hang above, so you can buy the pair and match the finish. Coats go up on hooks, shoes tuck away below, all made to your size.

A coat rack with shoe storage solves the two problems every hallway has at once. Coats, bags and scarves hang from the hooks up top, while shoes, boots and wellies tuck into the bench below, and the bench top gives you somewhere to sit while you pull them on. No separate rack, no shoe pile by the door, just one tidy piece doing the work of three.

Every bench is handmade to order in our Halifax workshop from solid wood, with a robust pine lid as standard or an oak lid upgrade for a warmer seat. Choose a standard length or go fully bespoke to fit your space, and pick from a range of Farrow and Ball colours to match your hallway. Because each one is built to order, the size and finish are yours to decide.
