Wooden Double Vanity Units

A double vanity unit is a wide bathroom vanity made for two basins, giving a shared bathroom or ensuite twin sinks with storage underneath. Every one of ours is handmade to order in solid wood at our workshop in Halifax, in widths from 1200mm to 1600mm, with bespoke sizes on request.

Built from solid pine throughout, the top included, these units are made to last in a working bathroom. A solid timber top can be sanded back and given a fresh coat of wax over the years rather than replaced, and the natural grain, knots and colour mean no two units come out exactly the same.

Choose the configuration that suits your bathroom: two drawers over open shelving for a lighter, more open look, or four drawers for fully closed storage. Each top is left ready for two counter top basins that sit straight onto the timber, so there is no separate stone worktop to buy. Basins and taps are not included, which lets you choose the style that suits your room.

Our double vanity units are made to order from 1200mm to 1600mm wide, the widths most shared bathrooms need for two basins. If your space falls between sizes, or you have an alcove to fill, we cut a bespoke width to fit. Standard depth is 45cm and height is 80cm.

Choosing a double vanity unit

A double vanity unit gives two people their own basin in a shared bathroom or ensuite, with storage underneath to keep the room tidy. Every unit here is handmade to order in solid pine, so you choose the width, the finish and the drawer layout to suit your space.

Two drawers or four

The two drawer version sits over open shelving, which keeps the unit feeling light and gives easy reach to towels and baskets. The four drawer version swaps the shelves for two more drawers, so everything is tucked away behind a drawer front. Both take two basins and come in the same sizes.

Measuring for two basins

Measure the wall the unit will sit against and allow a little clearance at each side. Widths from 1200mm suit most shared bathrooms, with 1400mm to 1600mm giving more space between the two basins. If your wall falls between sizes, we cut a bespoke width to fit.

Your basins and taps

The solid pine top is left ready for two counter top basins that sit straight onto the timber, so there is no separate stone worktop to buy. Basins and taps are not included, which lets you choose the style that suits your bathroom, and we recommend a qualified plumber fits them.

Each unit is handmade to order in West Yorkshire, finished by hand in your choice of wax and sent out on a tracked, carefully packaged service. It arrives fully assembled, and bespoke sizes are welcome, just send your measurements.
