We take great pride in sourcing all of our wood from FSC certified suppliers, who are committed to responsible forest management practices. This means that not only is our wood sustainably sourced, but it is also harvested in a way that preserves the delicate ecosystem of our forests.

Assembly: Item will arrive fully assembled. Two hooks will need to be attached after installation. 

The back of the coat rack is not stained on all finishes except Heritage Oak and Natural. This is intentional and not a fault. Staining the rear face can lead to marking or transfer onto walls once installed, so it is left unstained to prevent this. As the back is not visible when mounted, this does not affect the overall appearance, strength or durability of the product.

Our furniture is made from solid wood, so natural variations such as knots, knot holes, grain patterns and small colour differences should be expected. These are not defects but part of the character of real timber. If you would prefer a cleaner, more uniform piece, please contact us prior to ordering and we can arrange this where possible. The wood will also mature over time, with the colour settling as it ages. As each rack is handmade to order, dimensions may vary slightly by a few millimetres. Fixings are supplied for fitting, but we recommend checking your wall type and using suitable fixings where needed. Each piece is finished by hand in our Yorkshire workshop and packaged carefully to ensure it arrives in good condition.

Installation

This coat rack is supplied fully assembled. The mounting holes are pre-drilled and will stay hidden behind the outer two hooks, meaning that all screws are hidden from view once the rack has been fitted to the wall. The fixings provided are for use with solid walls, if you are attaching this to a plasterboard wall, you will need to source the appropriate fixings.
