Narrow Oak Shelf

Each shelf is made to order in our Yorkshire workshop in small production runs. Please allow 3 to 5 working days for us to build and finish it before dispatch. We always aim to meet this lead time, though during busier periods it can occasionally take a little longer. Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details, and your order is sent on a tracked courier service, carefully packaged to arrive safely.

Every shelf is handcrafted from solid oak, so each one is unique. The grain, knots and colour vary from piece to piece, and as a natural material the oak may develop small cracks and splits as it settles into your home. These are the character of real wood rather than faults.

Solid oak throughout, both the shelf and the two brackets, cut from FSC certified timber with no MDF core and no veneer, so it can be sanded and refinished over the years rather than replaced.

Sustainably sourced materials
We take great pride in sourcing our wood from FSC certified suppliers who are committed to responsible forest management, so every shelf is made from timber that is sustainably grown and harvested.

Each bracket has keyhole fixings set into the back, so the shelf hangs straight onto two screws driven into the wall, with nothing on show once it is up. Mark the two fixing points with a level, drive the screws into solid masonry or into the timber studs behind plasterboard, then hang the shelf onto the keyholes so it drops down and sits tight to the wall. Please have it fitted by a competent person or professional.
