Description:

These decorative oak wooden shelf brackets are handmade in our Yorkshire workshop and supplied as a matching pair. The shaped profile adds visual detail, making them well suited to traditional and period-style shelving where the brackets are intended to be seen.

Each bracket is made from solid oak and finished to bring out the natural grain and tone of the wood. The decorative shape works well in living rooms, kitchens, hallways, and bedrooms, particularly in spaces where character and detail matter as much as function.

The brackets are sold without a shelf, allowing you to choose your preferred shelf length, thickness, and finish. Fixings are not supplied so you can select the most suitable screws and wall plugs for your wall type and intended load.

Made to order in Yorkshire using solid oak throughout.

WOOD MATERIAL

Solid Oak

These wooden shelf brackets are made from solid oak throughout and handcrafted in our Yorkshire workshop. Oak is chosen for its strength, durability, and natural character, making it well suited to wall-mounted shelving.

As a natural material, oak features individual grain patterns, knots, and tonal variation. These characteristics are part of the wood and mean every pair of brackets is unique. Sizes are approximate due to the nature of solid timber.

All oak used is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers, supporting responsible forest management and sustainable production.

GOOD TO KNOW

Wall Fixings:
We do not supply screws or wall plugs, as the correct fixings depend on your wall type and the load you plan to place on the shelf. If you are fitting to plasterboard, use appropriate plasterboard-rated fixings or fix into studs.

Wood Material:
Solid oak shows natural characteristics including knots and grain variation. Sizes are approximate due to the nature of solid timber.

Colour Disclaimer:
Wood tone can vary between screens and between pieces of oak. Natural variation is normal and not a fault.

How long will my order take

Most items are handmade and made to order. The current lead time is shown on the product page. You will also receive progress updates during production and dispatch.

What happens if there is a problem during delivery

If you experience an issue in transit, contact the customer service team and they will help you resolve it.

How do returns work

To start a return, email customer service with your order number and reason. Items must be securely packaged in the original packaging. Return shipping costs are usually paid by the customer, while defective or damaged returns are covered by Off the Grain. Refunds are processed after inspection.

Do you offer click and collect

Yes. Click and collect is available from the workshop and is free. Collection options vary by item size.

Can I get advice on finishes or matching items

Yes. Product and finish guidance is available. If you are unsure about finishes or matching pieces, contact the team and they will advise.

Wood is a wonderful, natural material, beautiful to look and great to work with. Here at Off the Grain, we use a wide range of timber to make our furniture. All this timber is responsibly sourced &ย FSC certified. That means that every piece of wood at Off the Grain is sourced from sustainably managed forests in areas where four trees are planted for everyone used.

We also make sure that all of the Timber supply chain that we work with are licensed and operating legally, so that we are all upholding the very high standards that we pride ourselves on here at Off The Grain.
