Description:

This solid oak wall shelf is supplied with a matching pair of decorative wooden brackets, all handmade in our Yorkshire workshop. The shaped bracket detail gives the shelf a more traditional, character-led look while still providing dependable everyday support.

The shelf depth is 15cm, offering practical storage for books, frames, plants, and decorative items without overwhelming the wall. The decorative brackets sit neatly beneath the shelf and add visual interest, making this shelf well suited to living rooms, hallways, kitchens, and bedrooms.

Both the shelf and brackets are made from solid oak and finished to bring out the natural grain and tone of the wood. This design works particularly well in traditional and period-style homes or anywhere you want the brackets to be part of the feature rather than hidden.

Fixings are not supplied, allowing you to choose the most suitable screws for your wall type. Made to order in Yorkshire using solid oak throughout.

Each shelf and bracket set is handmade to order in our Yorkshire workshop and produced in small production runs.

The dispatch timeframe shown above reflects the current production schedule for this item. Orders are scheduled into weekly production, then carefully finished, packed, and dispatched.

While we always aim to meet stated lead times, dispatch may occasionally take a little longer during busy periods.

Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. All items are sent using a tracked courier service and carefully packaged to arrive safely.

WOOD MATERIAL

Shelf & Brackets:
This shelf is supplied with matching decorative wooden brackets, all made from solid oak. The visible bracket design forms part of the overall look and is intended to be seen once installed.

Wall Fixings:
Fixings are not supplied, as the correct screws and wall plugs depend on your wall type and the load you intend to place on the shelf. For plasterboard walls, suitable plasterboard-rated fixings or fixing into studs should be used.

Wood Material:
Solid oak displays natural characteristics including grain variation, knots, and tonal differences. All sizes are approximate due to the nature of solid timber. These features are part of the material and make every shelf unique.

Colours may vary slightly between screens and between pieces of oak. Natural variation is normal and does not constitute a manufacturing fault.

How long will my order take

Most items are handmade and made to order. The current lead time is shown on the product page. You will also receive progress updates during production and dispatch.

What happens if there is a problem during delivery

If you experience an issue in transit, contact the customer service team and they will help you resolve it.

How do returns work

To start a return, email customer service with your order number and reason. Items must be securely packaged in the original packaging. Return shipping costs are usually paid by the customer, while defective or damaged returns are covered by Off the Grain. Refunds are processed after inspection.

Do you offer click and collect

Yes. Click and collect is available from the workshop and is free. Collection options vary by item size.

All this timber is responsibly sourced &ย FSC certified. That means that every piece of wood at Off the Grain is sourced from sustainably managed forests in areas where four trees are planted for everyone used.

We also make sure that all of the Timber supply chain that we work with are licensed and operating legally, so that we are all upholding the very high standards that we pride ourselves on here at Off The Grain.
