The Cropton is a stunning, handmade, solid wood bed frame that is the perfect centrepiece for any bedroom. Handmade in our Yorkshire workshop, it is built to last and withstand the test of time. The headboard is a standout feature of this bed, adding both style and comfort to your bedroom. It features a classic design that will blend seamlessly with any decor and provides a comfortable place to lean against while reading or watching TV. The solid wood bed frame is available in a wide range of sizes, including single, small double, double, king, and super king, making it easy to find the perfect fit for your room. The bed is also designed to be easy to assemble, so you can get ready to cosy up straight away.

Our Cropton Bed will arrive ready to assemble in an easy fashion and instructions will be provided to assist you. The colour shown in the image is our medium wax finish, if you would like an alternative colour then please contact us by email at info@offthegrain.co.uk. The bed is shown photographed with our Lister Bedside Tables. Please note that the bed is sold without the mattress and bedding.

Delivery Information

*Order this item by November 26th, and we assure you it will be dispatched in time for Christmas. While orders placed after this date may still be sent before Christmas, we cannot guarantee it.

The current lead time on this item is 4-6 weeks. Even though everything is handmade to order, we always endeavour to keep to these incredibly quick lead times. However, very occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, it may take a little longer.  We let you know when your item has been completed by the workshop including a tracking number for the courier, so you can anticipate its delivery day. Your order should be with you within 3 working days of receiving your completion email. If you would like to know any more about our deliveries, please contact our customer service team, where we will do our best to answer any query you may have. 


Standard delivery is available for UK mainland only. Deliveries to any off-shore islands, international addresses and certain parts of Scotland/Highlands will incur extra delivery charges. These charges will depend on the your postcode and the item that you are purchasing. If the delivery will take place outside of Mainland UK, please contact us prior to ordering to clarfiy costs. If you order and a delivery surcharge is required, a member of our team will be in contact via email or phone.

That means that every piece of wood at Off the Grain is sourced from sustainably managed forests in areas where four trees are planted for everyone used.

We also make sure that all of the Timber supply chain that we work with are licensed and operating legally, so that we are all upholding the very high standards that we pride ourselves on here at Off The Grain.
