Sustainability Sourced Materials

We take great pride in sourcing all of our wood from FSC certified suppliers, who are committed to responsible forest management practices. This means that not only is our wood sustainably sourced, but it is also harvested in a way that preserves the delicate ecosystem of our forests.

Installation

Heavy duty keyhole fixings are supplied with all our wooden mantel beams. The keyhole fixings are routed and fixed into the back of the mantel beam before leaving our workshop, meaning that when installed your shelf will sit flush to your wall. Also included within the package is a wall fixing kit (wall plugs and screws) which can be used to install the beam on masonry and stud walls (where the timber uprights can be located). Should you wish to install this beam on a plasterboard wall, then you will need to source the appropriate fixings. Please ensure that your beam is installed by a competent person or professional.

Oak is a combustible material and as a result should be positioned and installed a safe distance away from stoves and in line with HETAS regulations.
