This solid oak console table is a slim table built entirely from solid oak, both the top and the legs, so it is hard wearing, ages beautifully and lasts for years. Ours pairs a chunky 30mm oak top with open solid oak legs made in our own workshop, a clean contemporary shape that suits a hallway, an entryway or the space behind a sofa. Handmade to order in Halifax and cut to the width you need, from 50cm to 150cm, in a choice of two heights.

Because it is solid oak throughout, every piece carries its own grain, knots and character, and can be sanded and refinished over the years rather than replaced. Choose from our full range of oak finishes to match your room.

It arrives with the legs and top detached, which makes for safer delivery and simple assembly. The legs fix to the top in a few minutes with the fixings supplied.

DELIVERY & RETURNS

Made to order in our Yorkshire workshop and sent out on a tracked courier service, carefully packaged. The legs and top ship detached, which protects the piece in transit and makes it easy to carry through to the room you need.

WOOD MATERIAL

Solid oak throughout, both the top and the legs, cut from FSC certified timber, so it can be sanded and refinished over the years rather than replaced. Oak is a dense, hard wearing hardwood with a fine grain that ages beautifully, which is why it is such a lasting choice for furniture.

Our Solid Oak Console Tables

Every console is handmade from solid oak, so each one is unique. The grain, knots and colour vary from piece to piece, and as a natural material the oak may develop fine cracks or a little movement as it settles into your home. These are the character of real wood rather than faults.

Colour and finish

Each piece is finished by hand in your chosen oak finish, and no two pieces of oak take the finish in quite the same way. Colours can also look slightly different from one screen to another. These natural variations are normal and are not a fault.

Simple to build

The console arrives with the legs and top detached, which makes for safer delivery. It is simple to put together, the legs fix to the top with the fixings supplied and it takes only a few minutes.

How long will my order take

Most items are handmade and made to order. The current lead time is shown on the product page. You will also receive progress updates during production and dispatch.

What happens if there is a problem during delivery

If you experience an issue in transit, contact the customer service team and they will help you resolve it.

How do returns work

To start a return, email customer service with your order number and reason. Items must be securely packaged in the original packaging. Return shipping costs are usually paid by the customer, while defective or damaged returns are covered by Off the Grain. Refunds are processed after inspection.

Do you offer click and collect

Yes. Click and collect is available from the workshop and is free. Collection options vary by item size.

Wood is a wonderful, natural material, beautiful to look and great to work with. Here at Off the Grain, we use a wide range of timber to make our furniture. All this timber is responsibly sourced &ย FSC certified. That means that every piece of wood at Off the Grain is sourced from sustainably managed forests in areas where four trees are planted for everyone used.

We also make sure that all of the Timber supply chain that we work with are licensed and operating legally, so that we are all upholding the very high standards that we pride ourselves on here at Off The Grain.
