Product description

This solid wood shelf is supplied with rustic wooden brackets, combining clean timber with traditional bracket styling. The result is a shelf that offers a rustic look without the heavier character marks associated with scaffold board shelving.

The wooden brackets provide dependable support while adding subtle visual detail beneath the shelf. This makes it a good choice for kitchens, living spaces, and hallways where a rustic style is wanted but a cleaner finish is preferred. Positioned between standard rustic shelves and scaffold board options, this shelf offers a balanced, quality-led alternative within the range.

Good to know

Wood Material:

The beauty of the material we use is that is displays the natural characteristics of the wood. Every shelf will display unique characteristics including cracks, splits, knots, and uneven edges. This character means that every shelf we sell will be truly unique and one of a kind. Please note that all sizes are approximate due to the nature of solid timber. All our shelves are available in three finishes – Light Wax, Medium Wax, Dark Wax.

Colour Disclaimer

In addition, wooden furniture will naturally have slight variations variations from one piece to another. Whilst every effort is made to match all colours and finishes, the variations mentioned are normal and do not constitute manufacturing faults.

Materials

Sustainability Sourced Materials

We take great pride in sourcing all of our wood from FSC certified suppliers, who are committed to responsible forest management practices. This means that not only is our wood sustainably sourced, but it is also harvested in a way that preserves the delicate ecosystem of our forests.

Installation

This shelf is designed for straightforward wall installation using the supplied wooden brackets.

Each bracket is first fixed securely to the wall using a keyhole fixing on the rear. Once the brackets are level and firmly attached, the shelf is positioned on top.

The shelf is then secured by driving screws up through the pre-countersunk holes in the top of each bracket into the underside of the shelf. This locks the shelf in place and prevents movement.

You have two finish options:

• Leave the screw visible within the pre-countersunk hole
• Cover the screw using the small timber pellet provided

The timber pellet is pre-cut and may not be taken from the same section of wood as your shelf. As solid wood varies naturally in grain and tone, the pellet may not be an exact visual match. This does not affect strength or performance and is part of the character of working with real timber.

For best results, we recommend installing into solid masonry or wall studs using suitable fixings for your wall type.
