This modern oak shelf is handmade from solid oak and supplied with matching wooden brackets designed for a clean, understated finish. The shelf measures 15cm deep with a 3cm thickness, offering practical storage without looking heavy on the wall.

The slim oak brackets measure 5cm ร— 13cm and provide discreet, reliable support while keeping the overall look minimal. Their straight profile suits modern interiors where visible brackets should stay subtle rather than decorative.ย Finished in heritage oak oil, the shelf highlights the natural grain of the wood while offering a durable, hard-wearing surface. Well suited to kitchens, living spaces, hallways, and home offices, this shelf works as a standalone feature or as part of a wider shelving layout.

INSTALLATION

This shelf is designed for straightforward wall installation using the supplied wooden brackets.

Each bracket is first fixed securely to the wall using a keyhole fixing on the rear. Once the brackets are level and firmly attached, the shelf is positioned on top.

The shelf is then secured by driving screws up through the pre-countersunk holes in the top of each bracket into the underside of the shelf. This locks the shelf in place and prevents movement.

You have two finish options:

โ€ข Leave the screw visible within the pre-countersunk hole
โ€ข Cover the screw using the small timber pellet provided

The timber pellet is pre-cut and may not be taken from the same section of wood as your shelf. As solid wood varies naturally in grain and tone, the pellet may not be an exact visual match. This does not affect strength or performance and is part of the character of working with real timber.

For best results, we recommend installing into solid masonry or wall studs using suitable fixings for your wall type.

Most items are handmade and made to order. The current lead time is shown on the product page. You will also receive progress updates during production and dispatch.
