Wooden Coat Racks

Wooden coat racks handmade in our Halifax workshop. Wall mounted styles from 2 to 12 hooks in solid oak, rustic pine and painted finishes — plus coat racks with shelves, shaker peg rails and hallway storage benches with hooks. All built from solid timber, no MDF or veneered chipboard.

Most styles are available made to order in custom widths if the standard sizes don't fit your wall. Painted options in any colour, including Farrow & Ball shades on request.

Solid Oak Mantel Beams

Solid oak mantel beams, handmade to order in our Halifax workshop. A beam above a fireplace or log burner adds warmth, character and a practical shelf in one piece — available in oak and pine, in lengths from 60cm to 240cm. The oak range comes in heritage and walnut finishes; the rustic pine range in light, medium or dark wax. Both use concealed fixings and sit flush to the wall with no visible brackets. Every beam is built from solid timber throughout, no MDF or veneer. Standard lead time 3–5 days.

Wooden Wall Shelves

Wooden wall shelves handmade in our Halifax workshop — solid oak and pine, made to order with a 3–5 day lead time. This page covers the full shelving range in one place. If you know which type you need, go straight there:

Oak or pine?

Every shelf in this range is solid timber throughout — no MDF core, no veneer. Oak is the denser option with a finer grain, better suited to contemporary and mid-century rooms and heavier loads on longer spans. Pine has more visible knots and grain movement, a warmer tone, and suits farmhouse, rustic and country interiors. Both are available in standard sizes and made to order for non-standard widths.

All shelves ship with fixings for standard solid masonry walls. If you're fixing into plasterboard or timber studs, get in touch before ordering — the shelf is the same, the fixings are different.
