This dining table and bench set is made from solid pine and built for everyday use.

Pine gives a warmer, more relaxed look compared to oak. You will see more variation in the grain along with knots and colour differences across the surface, which gives each table its own character. The 32mm thick top provides a solid feel without being overly heavy. Once assembled, the table sits firm and stable, making it well suited to daily family use.

The X frame base is made from solid wood and gives the table a strong, balanced structure. It keeps the design simple while adding a clear focal point underneath the table. Each table is finished with wax to protect the surface and bring out the natural detail in the timber. You can choose from a light, medium or dark finish depending on the look you want in your space.

The edges are finished with a pencil round profile, which softens the feel while keeping the overall shape clean. The benches are made to match and follow the same X frame design. They tuck neatly underneath the table when not in use, helping to keep the space clear. Every table is handmade to order in our Yorkshire workshop. As this is solid pine, expect visible knots, grain variation and colour differences across each piece. This is part of the natural look and not a fault.

SPECIFICATION

The table is 750mm high with a 32mm thick solid pine top. Sizes range from 120cm x 80cm through to 240cm x 90cm.

The X frame legs are made from solid wood and positioned to provide a stable base while allowing comfortable seating.

The benches are 450mm high and around 300mm deep. Each bench is sized to suit the table and designed to tuck underneath.

GOOD TO KNOW

This table is made from solid pine, so natural variation in grain, knots and colour will be visible. Each piece will look slightly different.

The wax finish enhances the tone of the wood and may appear different depending on lighting and surroundings.

Pine is softer than oak, so light marks can occur over time with use. This adds to the character of the table as it ages.

This is a solid, well-built table designed for everyday use.

Delivered with legs removed.

All fixings are included. Assembly is straightforward. Two people recommended.
