Installation

Heavy duty keyhole fixings are supplied with all our oak mantel beams. The keyhole fixings are routed and fixed into the back of the mantel beam before leaving our workshop, meaning that when installed your shelf will sit flush to your wall. Also included within the package is a wall fixing kit (wall plugs and screws) which can be used to install the beam on masonry walls or stud walls (where the timber uprights can be located). Please ensure that your beam is installed by a competent person or professional.

Oak is a combustible material and as a result should be positioned and installed a safe distance away from stoves and in line with HETAS regulations.

The current manufacturing lead time on this mantel shelf is 4-7 working days. Even though everything is handmade to order, we always endeavour to keep to these incredibly quick lead times. However, very occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, it may take a little longer. 

We let you know when your item has been completed by the workshop including a tracking number for the courier, so you can anticipate its delivery day. Your order should be with you within 3 working days of receiving your completion email. It is important that you open your mantel beam immediately upon receipt, this allows the wood to breathe.
