The current lead time on this item is 5-7 working days. Even though everything is handmade to order, we always endeavour to keep to these incredibly quick lead times. However, very occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, it may take a little longer.  We let you know when your item has been completed by the workshop including a tracking number for the courier, so you can anticipate its delivery day. Your order should be with you within 3 working days of receiving your completion email. If you would like to know any more about our deliveries, please contact our customer service team, where we will do our best to answer any query you may have.

Our mantel pieces are made using the finest French oak. The beauty of this timber is that each piece is individual and will display differing natural characteristics of the wood. There will be shakes, cracks, bows, splits and twists and this character means that every beam that we sell will be truly unique. Being solid oak, they are heavy and so we would suggest that the larger sizes are only fitted to a brick wall. Smaller beams up to 100cm can be fitted to a plasterboard wall but you would need to source your own fixings. If you are installing above a heat source, please allow the beam to acclimatise to your home for a couple of weeks prior to installation.

Colour Disclaimer

When viewing items online, colours can vary from one screen to another. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colours. In addition, wooden furniture will naturally have slight variations variations from one piece to another. Whilst every effort is made to match all colours and finishes, the variations mentioned are normal and do not constitute manufacturing faults.
